The International Neuroscience Institute (INI), in Hanover is designed to resemble the human
brain. The Iranian-born Professor Madjid Samii, is an internationally renowned neurosurgeon
who has carried out over 20,000 operations. Here Dr. Samii, assisted by his son Dr. Amir Samii,
is operating on a brain tumour in 90 minutes of full concentration. A team of ten assistants
observes the surgical procedure on a screen connected to a high-powered microscope.
